Tom Sitati is an African Brand Leadership Award winner, a past chairman of the Marketing Society of Kenya and currently sits on the Brand Africa Counsel. He holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Nairobi, a Masters degree in Communication specializing in new media from the University of Leicester (UK), is an MCIM Chartered Marketer (UK) and a board registered architect.
As one of the most respected pioneer practitioners of strategic branding in Africa, Mr Sitati has had the opportunity to speak at several international events. These include the Microfinance Annual CEOs Forum in Jinja, Uganda, COMESA Business Summit in Nairobi, the Global Brand Forum in Accra, Ghana, the World Brand Congress in Mumbai, India, The Market Research Event in Nashville, Tennessee USA, International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) World Conference and Gensler architects in Washington DC, among others.
Tom has written extensively on strategic branding, including authoring two books, “It’s a Branded World” and “Brandly Speaking” both published on Amazon. He has been involved with SAM since 2006.
Mr Sitati is a Partner at Brand Integrated Consulting LLP, a strategic brand and business advisory firm with a footprint across Africa. Brand Integrated is headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya and has a presence in Nigeria, Namibia, Rwanda, South Africa and Uganda.
