Sharon C. Mosin has over 8 years experience in Microfinance gained as a technical expert and Team Leader for the management donor-funded projects in Sub-Saharan Africa in Asia and has so far worked in 12 countries and over 40 Microfinance Institutions, SACCOS and Village Banks. Sharon has strong expertize in the support of MFI’s institutional development with focus on performance monitoring (portfolio quality, profitability and sustainability), product development (assessing, designing and testing financial products and services for MFIs and SACCOs), strategic and operational planning, processes mapping and procedures manual adaptation as well as Financial Education trainer.
Other areas of expertise include; socio-economic surveys, baseline surveys (using both quantitative and qualitative methods), leadership development, due diligence and evaluation of Microfinance institutions, donor-funded projects and other programs.
Sharon has background in Economics and Business studies, applied to the Microfinance landscape in Sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. She holds MA economics from the University of Nairobi and holds a certificate from Boulder MFT, and TOT from Microfinance Opportunities on financial Education.
