Experience in microfinance/rural finance development: Rose Mwaniki is a microfinance/rural finance specialist with more than 14 years of hands-on experience in managing microfinance operations and 10 years of consulting in microfinance and rural finance program design, implementation & evaluation, operating systems design, market research and product development & reengineering, strategic business planning and training of board members, institutional managers and operational staff of MFIs and Saccos on governance, management and operations, respectively. She has been a faculty member with School of African Microfinance for the past 4 years and facilitates the Delinquency Management Course one of her key specialty area.
Rose is an accredited Smart Campaign Support Assessor & Lead trainer in Institutional Assessment of Client Protection Principles (CPPs) and Responsible Finance adoption. She has hands on experience in training and conducting assessments on both financial as well as social performance.
Qualifications: MBA (Business Management), University of Eastern Africa Baraton: Bachelor of Education Bed Hons; (Economics/Business) Kenyatta University: Holds several short & medium term professional training certificates in the field of Enterprise Development from Internationally recognized Development training Institutions in Europe and United States of America.
Countries of Experience: Rose has undertaken consulting assignments in the following countries: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ghana, South Africa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Cameroon, Zambia, Namibia and Swaziland.
