Ruth Odera

Ms.Ruth Odera is the Director of Microfinance House Ltd (MFHL), microfinance consulting firm in Nairobi, Kenya. She has 15 years experience in private sector development, specifically microfinance in Kenya and other countries. Prior to joining MFHL, Ms. Odera worked for several years in rural finance related programmes.

Ms. Odera has vast skills and experience in consulting for the microfinance sector and has undertaken product development and training in Market Research and Product Development in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania and other countries.

Ms. Odera holds a Masters degree in Business and Administration from University of Nairobi, Master in Microfinance – magna cum laude Giordano Del Amore Foundation Italy, and Bachelor of Education (Business Option) from Kenyatta University. She is a certified MicroSave Service provider in Market Research and Product Development.
