Nkosilathi Moyo is the Chief Executive Officer of VisionFund Zambia (VFZ) Limited. VFZ is a microfinance subsidiary of VisionFund International (VFI) aimed at providing financial services to low income entrepreneurs in the communities where World Vision Zambia operates. VFI has over 36 microfinance institutions spread over Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. Prior to joining VFZ, Nkosilathi worked for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe as a Bank Examiner where he was involved in conducting risk-based supervision of bank and non-bank financial institutions.
He started his career in microfinance over 14 years ago with Zambuko Trust, a microfinance affiliate of Opportunity International Network, where he held various positions such as Branch Manager, Regional Manager and Operations Manager. Nkosilathi is a holder of a Masters in Business Leadership (MBL) from the University of South Africa, a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from the University of Zimbabwe and Training Management Diploma from the Institute of Personnel Management of Zimbabwe.
